The following is a brief summary of our tours:
The Chianti wine tour was excellent. Our lunch was served in a beautiful setting. The food was excellent as was the wine. Our guide at the second winery was absolutely lovely and filled with boundless enthusiasm. The village in which the winery was located was enchanting. Alfonso, our driver was a true gentleman and responsive to our every
needs. Perfect day!!
The morning tour of Lucca was wonderful. Our guide Laura’s enthusiasm for Lucca was contagious. She directed us to an outstanding restaurant where we had a delightful lunch. It is a place we would like to visit again.
The morning tour of Siena was very nice. Margarita was knowledgeable and we were especially pleased that she was able to show us the “House of the Rhinoceros”, as well as the floor of the Cathedral, something we had not previously seen.
Our tour of Orvieto went fine. Our tour guide and her husband were a lovely people and we were able to have a nice lunch with them before setting off on our own.
The wine tour of Orvieto was wonderful. The “light lunch” was not to be believed! Wonderful food and an excellent selection of wines. The property was fascinating as was the property of the second winery where once again lovely platters of food were served. We certainly did not go hungry! Our driver was just great and very anxious to
please. We had a great time.
Thank you for all your assistance in helping me make my vacation with the entire family to Italy so memorable. You were always there when I needed you. It was much appreciated. We will not hesitate to recommend The Art of Leisure, and specifically you Sara, to all of our friends and acquaintances.
