Florentine miracles: The Uffizi e The Accademia

Florence, the city of some of the greatest artists in history, today conserves their masterpieces in its museums. The name “Uffizi” is known the world over and thousands of people depart every day from every corner of the world to visit it. Inside, one finds such singular works as Botticelli’s “Birth of Venus” and Leonardo da Vinci’s “Adoration of the Magi”. A visit to the “Galleria dell’Accademia” is also not to be missed, where Michelangelo’s “David” has been housed since 1872, one of the most beautiful sculptures of all time, moved here from the Piazza della Signoria, where one now finds only a copy, for security reasons.

Without a doubt, two can’t miss museums!
