Masks making in a Florentine workshop

Who doesn’t know about the Commedia dell’Arte costumes of Harlequin and Punchinello? Some of the most famous of the Italian masks. One of our assistant will take you to visit the bottega of a Florentine artisan who has won international fame creating masks for the cinema (including famous Hollywood films) and the theatre, who will show you the main phases of creating a mask, from the plaster mould to the final decoration, explaining the various materials, techniques and skills the work requires. At the end of the workshop you will bring home the mask you created with the artisan support.
