Money never sleeps, especially in Milan

A trip through the centuries to discover the families and palazzos that made Milan the capital of economics and finance, from the old princes and the great aristocratic families to the twentieth-century middle class and today’s multinationals. Strolling among Piazza Cordusio, Via Meravigli and the Sforza Castle, one notes that although the buildings are different in style, each in its way represents the emerging social classes or those of power. You will visit the oldest palazzos in Milan: the Broletto (13th century), the Palazzo del Giureconsulti (16th century), the Palazzo delle Assicurazioni Generali (1897/1901), the Palazzo delle Poste (1901) and the seat of the Chamber of Commerce (1880/1952) concluding the tour in the Piazza degli Affari with the austere Palazzo della Borsa.
